The ceiling, commissioned by Ferdinando I, contains a canvas painted by Lodovico Cigoli depicting the figure of Charity.

The room is now decorated with three Gobelin tapestries illustrating scenes from the Iliad, based upon cartoons by G.B. Deshais (1729-1765), as well as 18th century Florentine tapestries with the allegorical figure of Neptune (water) and Juno (air), based upon cartoons by G. C. Sagrestani.
